The Smith Family and so many friends, mourn the untimely passing of our beloved Glen David Smith, of Hanson, MA. He was a devoted father to Lauren, 13, and Cailin, 8, and wonderful husband to Marisa, and will be missed beyond belief. He served the South Shore Community for over 30 years as a Call Firefighter, EMT and Paramedic, saving lives and mentoring peers with professionalism and dedication. Everyone who knew Glen was touched by his generous spirit, hilarious disposition, and loving heart.
Glen’s daughters were the center of his life. He was their biggest fan and coach, often shuffling them between soccer games, dance classes, and outdoor adventures. While they may not yet understand the consequences of his tragic departure, we pray that one day their broken hearts mend knowing how much he loved them.
The family is raising money for Glen’s daughters to provide resources for their education and financial security in the years ahead. Nothing will ever replace Glen in our hearts and we are grateful for any contribution you can make in his memory.
