Glen Cove Squarciafico Family Suffer Tragic Loss

Our dear friends have really been through a tragic time.  In the end of October they had a serious accident.  Joe fell from a ladder while doing yard work.  He was swiftly airlifted to the hospital.  Unfortunately, Joe sustained major head trauma.  For about two and a half months,  he lay in a coma.  The family maintained hope that he would come home and his wife Maria visited him frequently at the hospital.

      Joe was a kind family man who worked hard and was a selfless soul.  He would be there to help if you needed him.  Joe was a caring husband and active father of three beautiful kids ages 17, 16, & 13 .  He was also a  loyal friend to many.   This tragedy sadly ended Joe's life on January 7th.  Now our dear friends have lost their caring husband and father.    We want to do everything we can to support this family.  

       As you can imagine at this difficult time they are incurring big medical bills and funeral expenses on top of everyday needs.  Having only one parent to provide will certainly be challenging.  Our hope is that we can help ease their financial burdens.   The Squarciafico family has been through enough pain and heartache.  We are truly thankful for any contribution you can give.
