The Family of Gleice Mota Foster

Donation protected
Gleice Mota Foster and the precious twin babies she was carrying went to be with our loving heavenly Father early Wednesday morning.

For anyone who knows Gleice you know she always greeted with such a warm smile and was always truly caring.  Her brave, genuine & loving spirit was so beautiful.  She will be so greatly missed by the many, many people whose lives she touched.  Her family and friends in Brazil and America are in shock and mourning this tragic loss.

The following was written by Gleice's husband:

Many of you have heard the tragic news. Early yesterday morning God took to Himself my beloved wife, Gleice Foster and our 8 month-old unborn twins.

It happened at around 4:00 in the morning. Gleice collapsed into my arms as I ran to her aid. The type and cause of her collapse remains unknown. The autopsy ruled out a heart attack or a brain hemorrhage, but we may have to wait several months to have an answer. We may never know. It was very fast and unexpected. Gleice was rushed to Hanover Hospital and underwent an emergency C-Section. Sadly, neither Gleice nor the twins made it. I was able to hold Gleice’s arm as she passed. I was also able to see my twins. They were lying together, calmly, as if they were sleeping. Each tiny little finger and toe perfectly formed. A little boy, Elliot Nathan Foster, and his twin sister, Juliana Flor Foster. They were so beautiful and a gift from God. Though my heart is broken and I feel like I do not have anymore tears left to cry, I find comfort in the fact that God’s plan is perfect and beyond my comprehension. He has a reason for everything, and sometimes, it’s ok if I do not know the reason. Gleice was a strong, kind, and loving woman who made me a better man. I could not have asked for a more perfect woman to spend my life with and raise a family. We referred to each other as “Amor” (love), and when we spoke on the phone while I was at work we ended every call with “Te Amo” (I love you). I am so thankful that God has given me 8 wonderful years with this incredible woman and I know that the influence of her kindness and faith will live on in myself, our son André, and all those who knew her. Though the pain that we all feel is beyond words, I know that right now, she is rejoicing face to face with her Lord and Savior in Glory.

I love you Gleice, and I love my beautiful twin babies, Elliot and Juliana.
