I have been writing my whole life but recently put together a manuscript about mental illness and my journey with one. There are three sections to the book, a nonfiction piece on mental illness titled "Mechanizing Hope", a fiction story titled "Lucky Star" and a collection of my Blog posts, that reflect on my life, my struggles my hopes and dreams. The title of the manuscript as a whole is "Glass Slippers" which stems from a metaphor for life, 'Don't wear your glass slippers to the rodeo'. Please help raise the money so I can pursue publishing this work, I have already been approved by three companies. As soon as I have raised the funds I can move forward with publishing.
