Glass Ceiling Breakers are making a movie!

After Theatre Revolution's HUGE success in the festival circuit with the award winning films Father Daughter Dance and Liberty Speaks, we realized we wanted to do more to highlight the wonderful work of women filmmakers. We created and produced Glass Ceiling Breakers, the FIRST women's film festival in the Hudson Valley.

And now we need your help! Our latest project is a short film entitled Welcome to Theatre written by Gabrielle Fox. The script satirizes the prevalence of systemic racism and misogyny in the theatre world.

The production is led by a team of women with producers Gabrielle Fox and Nora Matz at the helm and directed by the Prime Time Emmy Nominated Producer and Director Annetta Marion

This is a SAG/Aftra micro-budget contract which is approved by SAG/Aftra under the current strike guidelines. Your donation will help us to support the entire team, all of whom are affected by the SAG/Aftra and WGA strikes.

Funds will also be used toward submission fees to film festivals so that as many people as possible can see what Glass Ceiling Breakers can really do in the film industry!

We are thrilled to have cast Sean Weil and Michael Raymond Fox in this comedic take on two local theatre producers. We are also casting background actors and featured actors from the Hudson Valley area.
