Barry and I will be walking from Glasgow Green to Balloch (23 miles) in the Glasgow Kilt Walk on Sunday 27th April 2025 for Breast Cancer Now and Parkinson’s UK.

We have chosen both charities as they are very close to our heart. Sadly, last year my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and my mum with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Over the last year we have watched both of my parents struggle through both mental and physical challenges daily.

We would like to raise funds to give back to these charities for their ongoing efforts to support people and their families through difficult times and to help them continue their much needed research.
