Glanzmann's Research
Helen Smith passed away suddenly on October 20th at the age of 52. She dedicated the past 20 years of her life to find a cure for Glanzmann's Thrombasthenia. She started her mission after the diagnosis of her youngest daughter, Julia. She founded The Glanzmann's Research Foundation, which works directly with Dr. David Wilcox of the Medical College of Wisconsin who has been researching and working towards a cure. All proceeds will go directly to the Medical College of Wisconsin to fund ongoing research.
