In a bid to challenge ourselves and raise funds for a good cause, a team of employees at Glanville Environmental are taking part in the Run Plymouth event on April 28th, where 31 of us are running a mixture of the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon.

It's not just about getting fit; we're aiming to challenge ourselves and raise funds for charities that matter to our employees.

Some of us are avid runners, others are complete beginners and we're working hard to motivate each other to prepare and train for this event and do our very best! We have been competing on Strava since the beginning of January to encourage one another and we're organising frequent runs including local park runs to train together!

We have decided to raise funds for three chosen charities:

The Lighthouse Construction Charity

Luna's Fund

Rowcroft Hospice

Our goal is to raise at least £1000 which we will split between these charities, and your support means so much to us, spurring our team in this challenge.

We'll share updates over the coming months as we train and work towards the event in April.
