Gladys Miranda -Medical Exp. For Aggressive Cancer

Dear family and friends,

Our sweet family member, Gladys Miranda has been diagnosed with an aggressive Stage 4 cancer and her family could really use our support and prayers at this time. As we all know, cancer is a very devastating diagnosis that is life altering-mentally, physically, emotionally, as well as financially.

Gladys (33) is a loving wife to Polo and mother of 3 children (1-month Michael, 4-year-old Daisy and 6-year-old Kylie).

On December 14, 2023, while expecting baby boy Michael she was admitted for an emergency c-section delivery at 34 weeks of pregnancy due to multiple ER visits and continuous unbearable stomach pain. Upon delivery, images confirmed a cancerous tumor originating from the colon and ultimately spreading to the liver. This was a sudden and unexpected diagnosis as no previous symptoms where present. Due to baby Michaels premature birth he had to spend several days in the NICU while Gladys was battling birth recovery, unstable vitals and many uncertainties. Upon further imaging, she has had to start immediate Chemotherapy to target and try to control the affected areas and stop the spread.

Currently Gladys is under the care of Baylor Hospital. Funds will be used for to continuous medical bills as treatment will be ongoing.

To know Gladys is to know how loving and committed she is to her children and husband. She is maintaining high spirits, a positive attitude and her love and faith in our merciful Lord.
