Gladys Marion in honor of Joe
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
On Wednesday morning, February 13th, we suffered a truly devastating loss of our dear friend, Joe Marion. He is survived by his loving wife Gladys. While we all must grieve and come to terms with this heartbreaking loss, we must also look to the future and be strong for Gladys.
Joe and Gladys have been married for over 37 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the U.S. Border Patrol as a Intelligence Officer. If you knew Joe, you knew he was a kind and tender-hearted man. Joe had a contagious chuckle. He enjoyed farming, he was passionate about the outdoors, he love music, and most of all, he loved Gladys. He was also the most modest; he was selfless and he was gentle. He championed those who couldn't advocate for themselves. Joe was a man of strong faith and was one of the most generous individuals we ever had the honor of knowing. The magnitude of how much he will be missed is immeasurable.
As with any loss, his wife, Gladys is now faced with a very difficult task and she will have significant financial needs both short term and long term. Any financial support we can offer her will certainly ease that burden. On an immediate basis, any financial contributions will be used to allow her to continue residing in Raton, New Mexico, and contribute to additional financial security.
The unbelievable love and support at this heartbreaking time is so encouraging. Gladys is crushed at Joe’s passing, but we can still continue to celebrate and memorialize how he impacted us through a support fund for this precious couple and friendship we hold dear.
Gladys appreciates every single bit of love, thought and prayer being sent. It's filled her eyes with tears and filled her heart to keep moving forward. She is truly humbled and grateful. God bless you all. Donations are accepted through this page or checks can be mailed to Gladys Marion at PO Box 1587, Raton, NM 87740.
