Hello everyone, My name is Jacqueline, and I opened this go fundme account for my sister Gladis. My sister Gladis is married and is a mother of three, works as a paralegal for an immigration firm, she is an active church member and helps out friends and family in any way she can. Her willingness and selfless attitude towards anything she does makes her remarkable and if you personally know her you are aware of her incredible sense of humor and ability to pick anyones spirits up. Unfortunately She has been struggling with her health for several years now and was diagnosed with fibromialgia in 2020. During these past couple of months her health has declined, the pain on her back got severe and she was not able to move for several days. She underwent several tests, MRI's and got 2 different opinions from doctors. After the evaluations they concluded she is in desperate need of an operation called A.C.D.F. Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) is a surgery to remove a herniated or degenerative disc in the neck. An incision is made in the throat area to reach and remove the disc. A graft is inserted to fuse together the bones above and below the disc. This operation requires at least 4 months of rest and 1 complete month of very little movement. During the time she will be bedridden she will be out of work and I am asking friends an family to please help ease the many financial burdens she will have. Any small amount will help, please continue to pray as she is currently in the hospital awaiting a date on when she will undergo surgery.
