As many of you probably know by now, one of our own has recently been diagnosed with a complication formally known as Ulcerative Colitis Jeffrey Smith, aka “Jefe,” has suffered under this complication for several months, but with the help of multiple referrals and medical opinions, it appears the disease is finally diagnosed and under control. Unfortunately, the treatment to which Jeff has responded, is one not addressed by his medical insurance. This has resulted in out of pocket medical expenses of $6,213.98, with additional medical bills estimated at $7,000 annually for the foreseeable future.
We’re asking that everyone come together to help Jeff through this tough time. 100% of donations will go directly to Jeff’s existing medical debt, and each dollar in excess of his current debt load will be deposited in to an account created solely for future medical expenses related to this disease.
Every dollar will truly help, so please take a moment to consider lifting this burden from the shoulders of our BEST friend.
