Hi, My name is Kalena, and this is my kitten Smudge, he is almost 8 months old now :). I got him as a kitten, and 3 weeks after adopting him, he got really sick. Turns out he had a rare disease called FIP, also known as feline infectious peritonitis. I was told that it was terminal and that he would not survive another week. Thankfully I found out there was a treatment for this disease, and there was a huge group called FIP Warriors who help cats like Smudge get cured of this terrible illness. It's a 12 week treatment of vaccines, followed by an 84 day observation period before he can be cured. Unfortunately, smudge finished his 84 days, but got sick once again with FIP during his observation period. Any fundraising for him would be wonderful! Anything at all helps, any left over funds will be donated to other FIP warriors in need :)
