Support Brian Kantner's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Heather Rohrbach, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Brian Kantner, who after much encouragement, reluctantly and thankfully agreed to allow me to do this for him and his family.

Brian is a devoted father to five amazing kids, including my son, Reid Kantner. No matter what life has looked like over the years, one thing has never changed—Brian has always shown up for his children. He has consistently put them first, making sure they feel loved, supported, and cared for.

Even beyond his devoted role as a father and husband to Cori, Brian is the kind of person you don’t come across often. He has always treated everyone with kindness and respect. It's safe to say, Brian doesn't know a stranger either. At sporting events or anywhere Brian may be, he is socializing with anyone and everyone. One thing is for certain, he will make you feel like you're best friends with his great conversations and ability to make you laugh!

Right now though, Brian is facing the toughest fight of his life—cancer.

In June of 2023, Brian was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as Signet Ring Cell Appendiceal Cancer.

Just one month later in July, he underwent surgery to remove the tumor, followed by six months of chemotherapy.

After enduring that difficult journey, Brian was given hopeful news—he had no evidence of disease for nearly a year. During that time, he focused on healing and being present for his family.

Unfortunately, the cancer returned, spreading to areas surrounding the original site. Brian faced it head-on once again, completing another six months of chemotherapy.

Determined to keep fighting, he also participated in a clinical trial in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Sadly, the treatment was not successful.

As expected, the physical and emotional toll is heavy, but so is the financial burden. Between medical bills, treatments, and now being unable to work, the stress adds up quickly. That’s where we’re hoping to step in and support him.

If you’re able, any donation—big or small—will go directly toward helping Brian focus on what matters most: his health and his family. And if you’re not in a position to give, sharing this page and keeping Brian in your prayers means just as much.

Brian is strong, and he’s facing this with courage. Let’s come together to show him that he’s not fighting this battle alone.

Thank you for your support, kindness, and prayers
