I have tried to write this about a dozen times. This is so incredibly difficult. Never in a million years did I think we'd be here. My husband Nathan Short, the love of my life ( 34 yrs) and father to our 3 amazing sons is fighting cancer. On Sept 21st 2021 he was diagnosed with Metastatic Liver Cancer. Dr's originally thought it was a Gallbladder issue. Further testing & scans revealed 20+ tumors within the liver. We were truly shocked. No family history & he's never really been sick a day in his life. But now so suddenly in the fight of his life. He started treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in La Jolla, Ca. Has had 2 chemotherapy infusions so far with a couple months to go. He's currently in the hospital for dehydration & general weakness. Working hard to get stable enough for a 3 rd treatment. We were truly hopeful we could pull this off without major financial intervention.

But being self employed & unable to work is catching up with us. Being sick is so expensive. Insurance, co pays & travel expense is painful. We're 80 miles (each way) from MD Anderson. They are the best in the country - it's worth it.

So here I am humbly asking for help. Nathan is the one that helps everyone he can. Family, friends, employees & his customers. He goes over & above EVERYDAY. Works 6-7 days a week He donates when needed, always. A local teen was killed last year in a hit & run. Nathan didn't blink- & gave the family enough to help bury him. Never met boy, just knew how badly they were hurting & helped. That's who he is. Now I suppose it's his turn for help. Please help him beat this thing so he can get back to his amazing life ❤️
