I am a mother raising my son alone, and recently our lives were turned upside down. Our two-bedroom townhouse caught fire because of an electrical issue, and in a matter of moments, we lost absolutely everything we owned. The experience has been devastating, and starting over from scratch as a single parent is incredibly overwhelming.

We are now faced with the challenge of rebuilding our lives from the ground up. Each day brings new hurdles, from finding a safe place to stay to trying to replace even the most basic necessities. My son and I are doing our best to stay strong, but the road ahead feels daunting. The funds raised will go directly toward replacing the essentials we lost—furniture, clothes, shoes, and houseware—and will also help us secure a new place to call home. Every bit of support brings us closer to stability and comfort for my son and me.
