Bella’s Vet Bills
Donation protected
Our close family friends beloved dog, Bella, ran away from their dog walker which is totally out of character for her, and was found hours later on the m53 motorway, badly injured after being hit by a car.
She is now in urgent need of extensive veterinary care, and the costs are far beyond what they can manage alone with the help of Bella’s insurance.
Her injuries include a fractured pelvis running along her sciatic nerve and dislocated elbow, with pockets of air in her chest which are being closely monitored.
Her dislocated elbow may need to be fixed and pinned with surgery, we will know more this afternoon.
She is expected to make a recovery and have a quality of life with possibly surgery, rest and a lot of physiotherapy and aftercare, but it will be a lengthy vet stay until she is comfortable enough to return home.
Bella is insured, however the maximum payout limit is £3000, and costs are estimated to be in the region of £6000+. This is after already paying £2220 for her initial emergency vet stay and painkillers last night.
We wouldn’t usually do this, but the amount of support they have received has been unbelievable and we/they are so thankful for all the help we have already had for our beloved Bella.
If there is anyone who is wanting to donate towards Bella’s medical bills we and Bella’s family would be so so grateful.
Any help received will ensure that Bella gets the treatment she needs to recover and return home to her family, including being reunited with our other two dogs who are missing her a lot. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in giving Bella a chance to heal and continue bringing joy to our lives.
We deeply appreciate your support, and an extended thank you to everyone who assisted in the search to bring Bella home.
