Help Us Care for Donkeys in Need

I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt appeal to help support a cause that has brought immense joy and love to our community—the care and upkeep of 11 donkeys (and 3 sheep)! These animals have found a loving home under the care of Tim and Dawn, who have devoted their time, energy, and hearts to rescuing them from difficult and often heartbreaking conditions.

Over the years, Tim and Dawn have tirelessly nursed these donkeys back to full health, offering them the safety and peace they deserve. The animals now enjoy their lives in the paddocks and stables on New Market Road in Nailsworth, where they are cared for with patience and compassion.

However, the weight of this responsibility is now taking a toll on Tim and Dawn’s health, and managing the day-to-day care of the animals has become more than they can handle on their own. While volunteers have stepped in to assist, there is still a pressing need for financial support to ensure that the donkeys and sheep continue to receive the food, shelter, and medical care they need to thrive.

This is where you come in. We are reaching out to our local community to help with the upkeep of these wonderful animals. Your donation will go directly to covering the costs of feed, veterinary care, and the maintenance of their home.
