Festive Provision 2022

The Pennypit Community Development Trust is raising funds to provide support over the festive period such as warm coats, jingle bags, new year bags and toiletries.

The cost of living crisis is currently affecting many families in our community, including stretching the household income pushing many more families into poverty this winter. The winter months present the greatest health risks to many vulnerable families who are living in poverty needing assistance. Many children have to walk to and from school without a coat or food, which has an adverse affect on their concentration, attendance and performance.

The average cost of a winter coat for a child is £20, for some this is similar to their weekly income.

Our mission is to provide free food and winter essentials to children and adults who are in need. The coats will be distributed across PSG and Fa'side areas.

Any donation is greatly appreciated and will go towards this worthwhile cause!
