In May of 2023, we found out Joe has serious internal problems that he is presently in care for. This is an incredibly tough time for his mother, Celeste, family and friends.
I have created this page in the hopes to help support his family no matter what the outcome.
We have the highest hopes for a full recovery, however there is a tough road ahead. Joe is on a list to move to hospitals with better care and we are all praying that time is on his side.
Joe has a kind soul and at only 30 years old it’s much too soon to part ways. We ask for your prayers and sensitivity to the family’s privacy during these next few weeks.
We hope that in the near future he is approved for treatment and transferred to a transplant facility. They may be at a distance and any donations will help with upcoming medical or travel costs, or the costs of the considerable outcome, a funeral. That still seems impossible and unspeakable.
Joe quickly became like family to me when we met over a decade ago, and I know that goes for many more. Joe is an only child but has been there for so many of us like a brother and has so much to live for. Thank you for your time in reading this.
