Honey’s Surgery
Donation protected
In January of 2022 Honey had a tumor removed from her breast causing 12 stitches and the loss of one of her breast. Now May 2023, Honey has a massive tumor in the same spot, well over double the size of the original one. The tumor has grown a lot more rapidly than previous, it has grown to the size of a small watermelon in under 6 months. With growth this rapid, the vets believe the blood supply to the Tumor may be very large. In the case that she needs a blood transfusion, we’ve had to bring her to a specialist hospital. The vet has quoted us at an astronomical price of $7300 for the removal of her tumor and full spay surgery. With no payment plans available and being denied Care Credit we are desperately asking anyone who can please spare any amount to help us get Honeys surgery as soon as possible.
We got Honey from a shelter in Fairfield, California. All we know about her life before we got her is that she was a stray in Stockton. Since adopting her we have been dedicated to making sure Honey is as happy and comfortable as can be. She deserves it. We want our girl to live a long and healthy life and we want to do everything the vets recommend to ensure that.
