The charity, “Lunch For Our Heroes On The Front Line,” was founded by Betsy Brown and Linda Sternberg. We began delivering lunch and dinners to local Boston hospitals at the start of the COVID pandemic, initially funding the project ourselves.

Over time, we’ve received generous donations, enabling us to expand our reach. We created a GoFundMe page to continue delivering meals to the medical teams in the ICU, ER, Pulmonary, Pediatric, Neurology and Cardiology units, even after COVID cases declined.

To date, we have delivered over 73,000 meals to more than 900 hospitals, receiving heartfelt appreciation from the hospital staff. Our mission is to continue supporting these heroes with meal deliveries made possible by donations to our fund.
