Hello family and friends.

My name is Sindy Thompson and our family comes to you with a plea for any help you all may be able to give for our very loved sister, (Sandy Sanelli)

grandmother, mother, and friend.

We are starting a "go fund me" for my sister.

My sister is fighting stage 4 ovarian cancer (after her constant advocating for herself being disregarded for years from doctors until it was too late once they finally decided to listen to her). She is now on her 3rd session (over 17 rounds and still counting) of chemo treatments. Doctors are trying a different chemo treatment at this point because her type of cancer has now become resistent to the first treatment. She's been through absolute hell but keeps on fighting with everything she has..rarely complaining and all the while keeping that smile on her beautiful face. She is our Warrior hero. She is a Proud Proud grandmother of 4 precious girls who mean everything to her. Also..she is THEIR ENTIRE WORLD! She LIVES for her grandbabies and misses her camping trips, beach trips, hikes, and movie time with popcorn spent with them.

Her strength going through this is absolutely amazing!

But she's weak and so so tired.

First time around they had to surgically give her an ostomy bag. That alone is HELL to deal with. The expense a month just for that hell is ridiculous and VERY expensive monthly, and out of HER own pocket.

Government won't help because she's 65!!

She was forced back to work.. Yes, BACK TO WORK in the middle of chemo in order for her insurance just to cover treatments and needs for the above ostomy care equipment and pain and nausea medications. She works for the Board of Education as a custodian. There is NO insurance, NO help what-so- ever from outside financial to help her. It breaks our hearts watching her suffer this way.

Our goal here is to support her, all of us stand with her, and help as little or as much as we can. She still has chemo every 2 weeks and of course is still working while going through that with all side effects... you can ONLY imagine.

We are reaching out asking for all and any support you can give, along with prayer, so she can stay home and rest through this and not worry about paying bills.

Shame shame on this government for not helping at all with this Monster of a disease that beyond our control!
