Let us tell you about our beloved Dave. He is a loving husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, co-worker and friend to so many. When he married, Tina, 27 years ago, he was already a corner stone in his own family, but he then became one to so many more. In these 27 years, him and Tina have had 3 beautiful children; Ben who is 21, Hannah is graduating high school this year and Eliza who will soon turn 11.
Dave has always been strong when the rest of us were weak. He is giving and caring. He helps whomever he can at the drop of a hat. You will not find a more gentle and kind man on the face of the Earth. Dave has been employed with Carter Lumber for a great many years. He has been involved with the Westville Lions Club for many years serving various and different titles. He is a Gentle Giant.
On Mother's Day, Tina found him not acting quite right and took him straight to the ER. Once there, it was found that he had undiagnosed diabetes, a stroke and a pulmonary embolism. We were all shocked and devastated. Dave is only 47 years old and still has so much life left to live. There have been several complications since then and it is looking like he will need extensive rehab. To this day, he is still in an unresponsive state in the ICU.
They need our help! Let's all rally together to prove to them that his kindness has not gone unnoticed. We all know with the state of our world right now that things are rough. However, if you could spare even a few dollars (no amount is too small), we can guarantee the Dickinson Family will forever be grateful for your kindness. Even if you are unable to help, please life them up in prayers daily and please share our fundraiser with everyone you can! The are in great need of every prayer lifted up. God is a miracle worker and thru Him anything is possible!
