The vet found a large mass in my belly and said the only way to determine if it was cancerous was to remove my spleen and test the mass. When the Emergency Vet went to operate, it turned out that I have cancer on my spleen, liver, and elsewhere. Rather than slowly bleeding out internally in a very short period of time, my family made the excruciating decision to put me to rest.
