A loving mother to many people has sadly passed away. This one of a kind human being, is now in heven, in a better place, look out for everyone <3 we all love you Rachel Christine Harding.
Here is the main issue.
A year ago, Rachel cancelled her life insurance. Scott’s insurance and the business insurance does not cover anything for Rachel’s death.
This whole thing came up so all of a sudden, Rachel and Scotts main priority at the time was paying for Tayla to move to Sydney, pay for her course, pay off their Business’s tax debt and the house. Life is a struggle and we all know that, there is no sugar coating it.
The Harding’s don’t even have money for the Funeral that Rachel so dearly deserves, due to scott unable to work in this tough time. Over the last year scott has been on and off work due to looking after Rachel whilst she silently suffered mental illness.
What we are asking is if you could so kindly donated what you can, and to keep Rachel in mind. Just thinking about how Rachel Has touched your life in some way, whether you knew her or not.
We know that Rachel would want something to come from her death, so her family is going to be dedicating their time to awareness for others going through, possibly, a similar thing. When we know more about her exact cause of death. But even the fact that the Family had tried to admit her to hospital, and couldn’t without her consent. That is something that needs to be changed, we could of saved her life months ago.
But now we have another guardian angel watching over us all.
On the 4th of April 2016,
Rachel Harding went into cardiac arrest after having a heart attack.
Her husband Scott Harding and two paramedics were there straight away to bring her back, Scott was giving CPR, pumping her chest, while the paramedics would use the defibrillator. They managed to Bring Rachel back and rushed her to the hospital via the ambulance. On the way to the hospital Rachel died another 3 times in the ambulance and another few times in the hospital. She pulled through and stabilized a few minutes before Laura arrived at the hospital. Tayla booked flights from Sydney to Hervey bay immediately, and her best friend Ruby rushed her to Nambour hospital where Rachel had been transferred to.
Everyone believed everything was going to be fine, they spent all the time they could on the Monday with Rachel, just talking to her and comforting each other.
When everyone woke on the 5h of April,
our hopes were high. We had received a call in the night saying Rachel was opening her eyes, even though they didn’t want her to yet. Rachel’s Aunties drove up from the Gold coast to check on her. It felt good to be surrounded by family at such a dark, stressful time.
By the time we were all finally let into see her, there were discussions about surgery or a scan. But that the condition Rachel was in was so critical, that they were both too high risk. The nurses told us to go take a break, so Scott, Laura and Tayla drove back to Laura’s apartment to put some warmer clothes on. We were there for 15 minutes when we had a call from the hospital to hurry back. Scott drove as fast as he could, there was no worry for speed limits. We managed to find a park directly outside the hospital, we ran up the hill and all the way through the hospital to ICU. We had to speed walk through ICU, with all the nurses and doctors we past just staring at us knowing what has been going on.
When Rachels nurse came into focus about 5 meters from us and said ‘She is still alive’.
I rush of relief came over us, as we rushed to Rachel’s bed side. Everyone broke down as we knew what was happening. We will so thankful the nurses kept her alive for us to all say out goodbyes.
We called friends and family members and put them on loud speaker so they could also say their farewells. Tayla and Laura played music that Rachel had told them she wanted at her funeral one day, and sang for their mum one last time.
Then it was time to take of her life support… Scott, Laura and Tayla sat beside her holding her hand and telling her is time to go.
Here is a bit about the family
Rachel Harding (46)
a strong empowering woman, who put every single person before her self.
A loving wife and amazing mother.
Dear Rachel was sick for a long time, with out anyone realizing how serious it was. Rachel had a big fear about going to the doctors, it would cause many arguments because the whole family was worried for her health and safety.
It explains so much, the constant fatigue, the changes of mood, how angry she would get.
It has been thought that over the last few years she has been experiencing lots of minor heart attacks. But Rachel being the amazing light she is, put everyone before her and her health.
Rachel was always there for her friends and family, playing many 2nd mother roles to so many other children. Being a dance mom for everyone at the dance studio’s Laura and Tayla would go to. She was a hard working, dedicated and passionate lady, and over the past couple of years, I am sure many have noticed a change in some of that. But she never lost her light, and her infectious smile and laugh.
Rachel kept her health between herself and her immediate family. But she did have a lot of metal health problems that were caused from a rough upbrining. We will make sure that we bring awerness for mental health and heart conditions on her behalf. She wanted to change the world.
Scott Harding (46)
has his own business 'so hot water heating’ selling all things solar. For the last few months on top of that, Scott has been renovating their house so that they can put it on the market, so that Rachel and him could build their little piece paradise, a shipping container home. Scott now wants to move a soon as possible, but its going to take time to finish the small bits of renovating around the house. His shipping container dream is on hold for the moment, while he morns the love of his life, his dear wife Rachel. But he is planning to move closer to his two beautiful daughters Laura and Tayla.
Scott has always been a hard worker his whole life. But he always made sure to spend plenty of time with His loving wife and two gorgeous girls. The three of them mean the whole world to him.
Laura Harding (21)
lives on the Sunshine coast and works at a childcare centre. Its always been Laura's passion, since she was a toddler, to work with children; she adores them. She would always try to take over the parenting role for mum, as much as she hated it, Rachel loved it. She knew that Laura would be the best mum in the world, because she has so much love for children.
Laura is going to have to spend a lot of time back home in Hervey Bay helping Scott renovate and pack the house up, so that he can move on and continue the rest of his life. This is going to effect Laura’s income as well as Scott’s, As she will have to have time of work, being 2 and a half hours from where she lives.
Laura has her mothers strength and passion. Rachel is so proud of how much Laura has achieved, and she will forever be her guardian angel
Tayla Harding (19)
moved to Sydney two weeks before Rachel passed. On the Monday that she had the heart attack, Tayla was meant to be starting her first day in the Dream Dance Co show|Business course. The Course is an amazing opportunity that Rachel would not want Tayla to miss. But with staying in Sydney comes rent, and course fees that Scott now can not support.
From the minute that Tayla was born she was constantly the entertainer of the family, Then when she could talk she told everyone ‘all I want to do is sing, dance and make everyone happy’, now 19 she has stuck by that her whole life.
Tayla Has her mother’s dedication and passion, she is learning how to be strong at this very hard time of her life. Rachel is also so very proud of Tayla for sticking to her dream and she always knew that Tayla would go far in life. Now she is watching over her to ensure that.
We all love you so much Rachel, We can not wait to see you again someday <3 May you rest in peace.
