Bring Rob home

- Hi, my name is Linda and I am trying to raise funds to bring my friend back home to us. Rob went on a 3 week holiday to Thailand last month. Unfortunately he didn't have travel insurance and took unwell on his 2nd week. Rob has been on a ventilator for 2 weeks and is currently being weaned off it. We have a flight ready to bring him home if he gets well enough to fly. However, the medical expenses are already over £6000. The British embassy have advised us that if the hospital bill doesn't get paid then they won't discharge Rob or issue a fit to fly certificate. Christmas is a difficult time for so many people, I know I am asking a lot but I have exhausted every other avenue to get help. Rob is an army veteran and has helped people his whole life. I believe it's now his turn to be helped. Our hearts are breaking knowing that Rob is so unwell, so far away and alone at Christmas. Rob doesn't have family but is very much a big part of ours. His absence in our home is devastating. Rob went on the trip of a lifetime and it has turned into a nightmare. If you can't financially help can you please keep Rob in your thoughts and prayers.
