Support Grant's Heart Transplant Journey

Friends and Family,

Please lift Grant, Linda and the entire Barnard family up in your prayers! As many may have heard, Grant has suffered a heart attack and was recently taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester and after discovering a hole\tear in his heart. Doctors have confirmed that his heart is too damaged and weak for surgery, and he is currently on an ECMO machine and that he is in need of a heart transplant. In Linda's own words, "Grant has been a real fighter and is choosing to keep fighting with a new heart". The Barnard Family is currently working to set up a Caring Bridge site to share updates on Grant. In the meantime, friends are also asking for your support to help Grant and Linda financially through this GoFundMe page! As difficult as it is to ask for help, we know that the financial burdens of medical expenses, gas for travel back and forth as needed, food, day-to-day needs, etc. will be extensive during this process as Grant will need to stay in Rochester for several months after receiving his transplant. Any contribution that you are able to make will help ease the burden and allow them to focus on the most important thing they need to deal with right now - finding the right donor, preparing for surgery and a lengthy recovery, and supporting each other physically, emotionally and spiritually!
