Bring My Partner Home

Hi. My name is Pamela and I need to do some renovations on my home in order that my partner, Marc can come home from the hospital. He’s been there since January and if we just had a way to get him safely in and out of the house he could be home where he belongs

He’s 64 years old a he’s my world. He went into hospital with kidney failure, rapid onset blindness and many complications from his recently diagnosed diabetes.

In order for him to be able to get inside our house I need to build a deck and a ramp for him to use a wheelchair on or a walker.

We live in a rural area

I have two quotes for the needed deck and they come in at approximately $25,000.

Marc is a retired conservation officer and he lives on a pension. I’m 63 years old and I have a small pension and I work part time looking after seniors in their homes.

My disabled son also lives with us.

All this to say we don’t have a lot and very little in savings. More like paycheque to paycheque.
