I am very excited to share with you that I was selected through national auditions to participate in OperaWorks’ 2015 Winter Intensive Program this coming January in Los Angeles! During this two-week program, myself and thirty-one other aspiring young singers will learn invaluable skills that will help take our careers to the next level. Graduates of OperaWorks have gone on to win Grammy's, be hired as resident artists for local opera companies, and have made their debuts at major opera houses such as the The Metropolitan Opera in New York City. I am working hard in my final year at San Jose State University and I am eager to see where my singing will take me.
               Programs like OperaWorks are a great help to my continued success as a young singer, but it is costly. The program costs (including tuition, meals, and driving expenditures) are approximately $1700. I would be so grateful for any contribution, big or small, you could make toward my expenses.
