Hey Y'all,

I have created this GoFund Me Page as a last but necessary resort for myself, Vanessa R. Williams, who was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. Although I have been abundantly blessed through my life, and still am, my journey has not been free of challenges, heart break, loss, illness, and trying times.

I am the single parent of a lovely, amazingly gifted young daughter, whose father was take from this earth way when she barely a toddler. Through death and loss, I find myself fighting moments of this Illness and treatment in solitude while still trying to pay medical expenses, rent, and other things that are necessary to maintain daily life for Darcie and I.

I wanted to reiterate how abundantly blessed I am by the prayers and well wishes, words of encouragement and love from family, on the way to remission. I am extremely appreciative of all the kind words and help I have received this far. And while I and not necessarily comfortable of the idea of getting help to relieve some of the financial burdens associated with medical bills, time off work for recovery, and the day-to-day cost of living, if I find my self in desperate need right now family.
