In January 2024, Ashley’s mom passed away. It was the hardest thing she’s ever gone through. Not long after, she got her cat Bean to help her cope. He became her comfort and constant companion, honestly, he’s gotten her through a lot of dark days.

Last month, Bean was diagnosed with FIP, a serious and often fatal illness. Yesterday, he started having trouble breathing, and she had to take him to the emergency vet. He’ll need to stay there for a few days and then be transferred to Virginia Tech for specialized care.

The cost of his treatment and hospital stay is more than she can manage on her own. She’s doing everything she can to help him, but she needs some support to keep fighting for him.
