Family of Captain Matthew Hanrahan

It is with great sadness that I am writing this today. This fundraiser is for a very special man. Not only did he work his way up to Captain in his professional life, but he was one of the best husbands to his wife Jackie and an amazing and loving father to Emily, Shannon and Ryan.  Unfortanelty, Matt became ill on Feburary 26th. He fought like hell for 11 days but could not endure. He passed away at the age of 45.  He leaves behind a beautiful life filled with love for his wife and children and for all who had the pleasure to have known him.  He continues to give by donating his organs to save the lives of others. We will never forget you Matt! Please help support his family as I know he would have done the same for any one of us!
