Chance's Emergency Back Surgery

Greetings All!

Recently, my dog, Chance, ruptured several discs in his middle vertebrae.  He is only 2 1/2 years old, so I wanted to do everything I could to nurse him back to health.  It turns out that he needs back surgery, and he goes into surgery today (10/31/14) in an hour or so. 

I made this decision without hesitation because I wanted to do what is right for the my pup, regardless of the cost or what is right for me.  The neurologist assured me that there was a 90% chance that Chance would regain full mobility in his hind limbs - that he would live a happy and healthy life from here on out.

I have pet insurance, but I only recently signed up (before knowledge of his condition).  My claim was denied, citing a preexisting condition, and I am now staring down at a $5,611.00 bill from the veterinary hospital.

I just want my dog to be okay, and I am willing to do whatever it takes...

Any contribution at all would greatly lift the burden, and I would be eternally grateful to those who offer any assistance whether by sharing or donating.
