Hi folks. Following my recent prostate cancer diagnosis I have decided to take part in the Tour De 4 cycle set up by the inspirational Chris Hoy. This will involve a 37.4 mile circular cycle from the velodrome in Glasgow. I am raising funds for Prostate Cancer. Any donations would be gratefully received.

Thankfully my cancer is treatable, but I only discovered it by asking for a test while visiting the doctor about something completely unrelated. If I hadn't asked the question I would be oblivious to it as I have no symptoms whatsoever.

Guys, get yourselves checked, it could save your life.

Thanks so much to everyone who has donated, I am a bit overwhelmed by everyone's generosity. I have amended my target slightly to reflect the contributions to date.

Once again though, and I can't stress this strongly enough, get yourselves checked guys. I've had various conversations in the last week with mates about this and some are still reluctant to go for a test. Why would you not?
