Hello my friends. I received some devastating news yesterday evening, while I was at work. My apartment complex manager called me to let me know I needed to get home right away because, there had been a fire in the unit two floors directly above me. She told me that the fire had been contained and that my cats were still in my apartment, in my bathroom, where I had put them that morning; however, there is water damage and that the sprinkler system had gone off. All I could think about was getting home to my cats and laying my own eyes on them. That was my biggest concern. Material things are replaceable, my cats, are not. I do have renters' insurance, but my deductible is $1,000 and like everyone else these days, I live paycheck to paycheck. I have been displaced for a few days due to the damage and cannot return to my home until, possibly, this Saturday. In the meantime, I do have a good friend who has taken, not just myself, but my cats in as well. I am not looking for any handouts, I just desperately need help. Any help I receive will help replace the things I have lost. Thank you.
