Help us get the care mom needs

Some of you know that our mom isn't well. I won't disclose to anyone (so don't ask please) what she's fighting right now. Just know, it's severe and we need any and all support we can get.

Our mom is the kindest, gentlest (unless you're a gnat), sweetest, silliest, etc., etc. You get the idea, best human. She probably should be sainted. Allison and I could not have asked for anyone better to be our mom. And she did a phenomenal thing finding dad and giving us two amazing parents. l

Things feel bleak right now, and the proper paperwork wasn't filed prior to this happening, so Allison (my little sister in case you didn't know) and I have exactly zero legal rights to make decisions about her care. Currently, mom is at a facility that is more than 3 hours away from both Allison and myself, so just getting there to visit is draining our bank accounts, in addition to having to take time off since it takes essentially a full day to go see her.

Our main goal right this second, which is the first step as soon as she is released from the hosptal, is to find rehab/skilled nursing placement closer to Allison and me before whomever is in charge of her care currently finds one, because that place could be even farther from us. However, we're not sure how to pay for all of this.

We first would invite any good energy, prayers, whatever your thing is, sent our way to help us take care of mom and the medical and legal crud, and for mom to be able to get a diagnosis so we can hopefully bring her home.
