John Wagner Emergency Hernia Surgery

HI all so here is my story.  About 2 years ago I started having abdominal pain on and off occasionaly when I ate food.    Those of you thst really know me know I love to eat lol. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me omeprazole for reflux.   It seemed to help a little bit still would get really bad pain usually when out to eat causing me to have to get up and walk around and sometimes leave the resturant without eating.  Well pain has continued despite meds and lab workup for my doctor.  Recently I had a CT scan and it found a large hiatal hernia 95% of my stomach is in my chest cavity.   I meet with the surgeon and after this hospital stay he says this needs to be taken care of now.  He is worried that blood flow.might be cut off to my stomach causing more complications.   I have been trying to work thru the pain and have been putting off surgery till I could save money to take 2 months off of work to recover.     My current job does not have sick or vacation time.   The pain has gotten more frequent and stronger lasting long periods of time requireing me to be hospitalized and surgery to be moved up to 7/27/2021 with Dr Peyre at Strong Hospital.  Should only be in 1 to 2 nights after surgery.   I will be out of work for approximately 8 weeks recovering. Any funds will be used to pay any uncovered medical expenses and now to keep my insurance active while out of work.    And provide me the time to heal and not go back to work too quickly.
