This past month has been the hardest and most heartbreaking time of my life. I recently lost my mother — my biggest support, my comfort, and the person I leaned on for everything. I was still trying to process her passing, still trying to breathe through the grief, when only a week later I suffered a heart attack at just 28 years old.
I never imagined something like this could happen to me. One moment I was grieving my mom, and the next I was in a hospital bed trying to understand how so much pain could hit me all at once. The emotional shock and physical strain have been overwhelming.
On top of facing this loss and health crisis, I am also a mother of two and a wife. My family depends on me, and trying to stay strong for them while working through my own recovery has been incredibly difficult. They have been my motivation to keep fighting, even on days when the grief and exhaustion feel too heavy to carry.
I’m incredibly grateful to still be here and healing, but the reality is that recovery has taken me out of work. Medical bills, medications, and even basic utilities are piling up faster than I can manage. I’m doing everything I can to regain stability for myself and my family, but right now we’re struggling to stay afloat.
Asking for help does not come easily to me. But with everything happening so suddenly — losing my mom, then facing my own health crisis — I’ve reached a point where I have to lean on others.
If you’re able to help in any way, whether through a donation or simply sharing my story, it would mean more to me than I can put into words. Every bit of support brings me one step closer to stability and gives me hope during a time when I’ve felt completely overwhelmed.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping my family.
