Help Save Gizmo

Hi there my name is Taylor, and currently I'm going through one of the hardest times in my life. My precious girl Gizmo is currently fighting for her life in the animal hospital and the veterinarians are trying desperately to save her. On Wednesday (February 26, 2025) we took Gizmo to the vet because she was jaundiced and discovered that her liver enzymes are incredibly high, the vet in Muskoka didn't have the equipment to dig deeper into the root cause so we were sent to a referral vet in Newmarket. She's been there since Thursday night and we've seen a little improvement.

But recently she's taken a turn for the worst, after some of her values came down they've recently skyrocketed again and she's developed a fever. They put her on a broad spectrum antibiotic hoping it catches whatever is causing it but we're reaching the ending of our funding and still don't have any answers or a chance for the antibiotic to hopefully do it's job.

After losing one of my babies to cancer just over a year ago we are really trying to save Gizmo and keep her in our lives. Thank you for reading and if you could please share this we would be forever grateful.
