Almost three years ago today, my life got a whole lot richer when I brought home a wild little Wirehaired Vizsla named Gizmo. Since then, we've hardly spent a day apart and I can't imagine my life without her.  

Earlier this week, I found out that Gizmo has cancer. If we want to keep trail blazin', I need to act aggressively and fund a $5,000+ surgery.  I can't do this by myself right now, so I am turning to my network of friends and loved ones (you!) for help. For those of you who have known me in the last few years, you've probably known me with Gizmo by my side, and you probably understand that she is much more than my dog--she is my partner. She is likely your friend, too!
