Hi! I'm Amy and I look out for the well-being of a cat colony near me. This is Gizmo, a gentle colony cat who has been suffering silently. Myself and another rescuer noticed that Gizmo had become concerningly thin.

After trapping her and taking her to the vet clinic, we learned she is battling severe, chronic dental disease that is causing her intense, constant pain. The infection is making it hard for her to eat, and it poses a serious threat to her vital organs.

The clinic confirmed that Gizmo urgently requires full dental extractions to remove her rotten teeth and stop her suffering. This is the only way to save her life and give her comfort.

As independent caretakers, we cannot cover the high cost of this critical surgery alone. We are raising money to cover the initial exam, then for her dental procedure and her recovery.

Booking the initial exam was $100, and with blood and fecal testing was an additional $190, equaling $290.

I expect the dental surgery to be around another $300.
