Hi my name is Beth. For 8 years when I come to Nusa Lembongan, Bali, I have stayed at the Tarci Bungalows.

And for all this time there has been a tiny Woman working tirelessly in the kitchen.

I would smile at her and she would just nod back at me. But there was a warmth and kindness I noticed in her eyes.

I often wondered why she did not smile back. And 2 years ago I discovered why.

She works so hard for her family, with her husband, to support their three children and give them a good life that she was unable to look after her.

It is not an afluent Island and Dental and Medical support is hard here.

And she was not smiling to hide her teeth.

She was embarrassed by the loss of teeth and the issues with her gums that has seen her with only 6 teeth left.

So last year I helped her get to a Dentist on mainland Bali to find a way to fix this problem. But it was more than we expected, needing the 6 teeth out, bone graft procedures and pegs put in to secure dentures.

This is going to cost $5,000 Australian..

I've started this GoFund me to raise that $5,000 Aus to help her have a quality of life she does not have now.
