It is now 2026 and the last few months have been out of control. We have been going nuts saving all the remaining kittens at our colonies and barely keeping up with the truly epidemic cat abandonment. When the weather gets bad, and the cats are dumped, you just figure it out. You can’t sleep knowing they’re out there, suffering for sure.

Venus, Rogue, Janus, Jupiter, Mercury, Atticus…just a few of the MANY dumped friendly cats we’ve saved this fall / winter. Not to mention batches of kittens and a little TNR.

Because - we’re exhausted, and the days mesh into months, we have fallen WAY behind in fundraising. Our main vet bill is back up to $8,500, we owe personal lenders thousands, and I now have thousands of cat rescue debt on my personal credit cards.

For all the work we do to save abandoned animals, and trust us - we work 7 days a week and it runs us all day long - all we ask is your help fostering, driving, and helping us pay our vet bills and with food / litter.

We haven’t said no to an abandoned cat but we’re at a precipice. We can’t head deeper into this year sitting on such debt. Our vets deserve to get paid, and our friends who laid out money to help a cat at the emergency vet (Venus, Atticus both cost $2,500 at emergency recent!y) must be paid back.

This weekend, one of our cats who was relocated to our rescuers yard, was found unresponsive. He was rushed to emergency where we found out he was in kidney failure. We so tragically lost him and wiped out what savings we had to help him.
