My name is Lance and some good friends of mine, John and Valerie, have just experienced a life-changing event. Valerie started experiencing pain in her foot and noticed her toe had started to become discolored. They called the doctor and transported her to Duluth Hospital; John soon followed. Within a short period of time after arriving, they had amputated Valerie's leg in order to save her.
As far as friends go, you couldn't find better ones. They are always quick to lend a helping hand to others in their time of need, whether it's donating time and resources to the homeless or just rescuing an animal in need. They somehow find the time to make a positive difference in someone's day.
John and Valerie have many challenges ahead of them that are going to need handicapped accessibility installed throughout the home, including ramps, bathroom, shower, and doors.
While recovering, Valerie will be unable to work, and John will need to assist her with day-to-day living that most of us take for granted; therefore, he will not be able to return to work full-time immediately.
In this time of need, I'm asking you to donate, even if it's just enough for a little gas in the car.
John and Valerie are very caring and giving people without asking for anything in return.
