Hiya,

As most of you know, Mandy and I volunteer at a small dog rescue in Tenerife whenever we're there on holiday, this refuge called K9 is run completely by volunteers, Elsie and friends set it up in 1993, she is an expat and so are a few of the other permanent helpers, everyone gives their time for free, we, along with other holiday makers and locals go there on a daily basis and take these poor dogs out for a walk to enable others to clean out the kennels and get them ready for the dogs coming back, that's it, that's their life, they live in hope of getting adopted, just like Epi on our profile picture who stole our heart and we bought him back to the UK.

But here's the reason we're launching this fund raiser, obviously they dont have very much money and what they do have is needed for vets bills, food and other basics, the kennels them selves are in really bad need of refurbishment in fact they need knocking down and rebuilding which is exactly what the guys over there are trying to do, the cost of rebuilding one kennels, which will probably house 3 dogs is just over 2200 euros so I really would love to be able to raise that for them. These dogs spend 23 hours a day locked up and just to be able to make that time a fraction more comfortable for them would mean the world, I know times are hard, but please if you can then your help would be amazing, even if you can't then please share this to everyone you can think of,
