I live in a deathtrap of an apartment situated in a West Cork dairy farm since June. The landlords have been failing their obligations from day one, and I've had to work around their incompetence, gross negligence, and blatant dishonesty.

This is because of how bad the housing market is, and because I didn't want to relocate my senior cat Polo again, as it may traumatise him to death. Meanwhile, I've been looking after the farm cats who knew nothing but neglect and poisoning from the locals, as they leave their leftovers out for the dog, knowing that the cats will eat from it too.

The tenancy agreement is a shabby and likely illegal document, and the apartment itself is barely inhabitable. Today (as it often happens) I had no water to shower or anything else in the morning. And as I was getting settled to start my workday, they knocked on my door knowing I can't be disturbed during working hours, and threatened me with physical violence.

I'm looking to move out and take the farm cats with me, but it won't be easy. I can't take time off work now, and the market is impossible.

Please help me fund a way to find a new home for myself, my Polo, Holstein, Aria, and Freckles. I can't live in terror and I can't feel this alone in this fight.
