Giving thanks to the NHS staff at Withybush ICU

We would like to raise funds to show our appreciation to all the staff at the Intensive Care Unit at Withybush hospital. Seren Cole, our daughter, sister, granddaughter, girlfriend and an amazing caring soul, was suddenly taken ill with pneumonia, sepsis, influenza and streptococcus A.

After needing one-to-one care for two weeks she has made an amazing recovery, though there is still a way to go. This could not have been achieved without the dedication and hard work of the NHS staff of the hospital.

With the current nursing strikes, we feel the need to help in any way we can. We have witnessed long hours, overtime, short staffing and picket lines for better working and pay conditions on days off.

We would like to raise funds to purchase some much needed appliances and gifts to facilitate relaxing breaks, and to motivate when their lifesaving care is most needed.

We have created this go fund me to allow friends and family the opportunity to also contribute if they wish.
