Giving Sydney Another Chance At Life

Hi, My Name is Gary B Fisk, and I am fundraising for my daughter's spinal surgery on May 13th. My daughter Sydney will be turning 22 on May 25th, and hopefully, she will be recovering from spinal surgery where they will be cleaning up the fractured bone #6 and putting #5 back in place and then fusing them together. Sydney is my firstborn, beautiful young lady with a dream and a vision that she gave up on when her first love ended. She has been through so much these last three years, even though she brought it on herself and thought she knew everything and was bullet proof, she actually seemed to be turning the corner back on the path that she choosen by obtaining a second job to pay off her bills and go back to school. The second week working 10pm to 6am at McDonalds she was running a little late and was in a one car accident that broke her neck fracturing C6 and pushing C5 out of place. God must love my daughter and have some great plan by sparring her life and as of now no paralyzation. The Dr didn't want to do the surgery at first but after eight weeks of being in a halo with no healing his recomendation then turned to this surgery as he didn't feel comfortable that she wouldn't become paralized taking the halo off. Seeing my insurance was better than the insurance offered by the job she was at I kept her on my policy. Niether of the two jobs she had at the time of the wreck offered insurance we are lucky I did this. Now we all know while insurance is a good thing to have the system between insurance and hospitals is anything but good. She has met the deductible and now she is only responsible for 10%, but how many 21 year olds have that kinda money. She didn't have any savings and the hospital and Dr want there money up front and they handed her two hand outs for medical credit cards, which making $11 dollars hr wouldn't let her pay back the debt in their time frame. My wife and I have gone through our saving these last two years trying to help her get back on the path and when it seems that she was the accident happened. Any donations will be used for the payment of her surgery and the many months of rehab she faces.
