Giving Shane the Farewell He Deserves
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ryan Couch and first I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my family's story. My family and I have been absolutely blindsided and devastated over the passing of Shane. It is with heavy hearts we announce his passing. His life was a testament to his kindness, love, and strength. Shane, age 49, passed away on March 25, 2025, after battling multiple health issues. As a lifelong resident of Bainbridge, GA, he was known for his passion for both his faith and his music. He loved his family unconditionally, especially his nieces and nephews. Shane loved to spend his days at the lake or river fishing or at home caring for his plants. He found joy in baking and cooking, at which he was exceptionally skilled, and loved to bring joy to people through his food. He had a background in theater with a specialization in opera and performed many times at Bainbridge Little Theater. He cherished his friendships, new and old, and gave so much love to everyone around him. I and my whole family miss him so much already, and there is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. He was a confidant, friend, and supporter to so many and poured so much of his soul into everyone he contacted. He was a major part of our life and always will be.
Unfortunately, he had no insurance to help the family with his death and all of us are trying to get enough to give him the memorial he deserves. We need as much help as possible. All contributions go towards the costs of the funeral home and his headstone. We appreciate any and all the help we may receive.
